Charges for additional service

We charge for meals, snacks and consumables, trips, tuition and any therapy sessions.

Educational resources are provided by the setting. Books, art supplies, games, blocks, garden equipment. and craft materials which are crucial for creating a rich education for the child.

Materials or resources, consumables are itemised on your invoice each half term and parents have the option to supply their own rather than pay. For example consumables, nappies or suncream. During the summer term there will be an audit of our charges policy and the parents will be given any updated pricing for starting the Autumn Term in September.

Let us know if you want to bring snacks and lunches from home and the itemised invoices will be amended.

What is optional extra? The optional extras are not essential for us to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage, all children are entitled to access this and we have an Inclusive Policy. Equitable access for all children, they should have access to quality early years and access to core activities. Finally, families must have flexibility for any finances involving their child in our setting.

If you need more information of what the funding covers for your individual child then we can arrange a phone call or meeting to discuss any charges for additional hours, meals, special activities, and late pickups.

If unable to pay then we can discuss the payment policy procedures. We supply the best quality food, and the children are involved in the preparation but if a family decides to prepare their own food we ask you to follow our Healthy Eating Policy and Allergy Protocols. These can be shared as a document or happy to meet and discuss.

There is a Dispute Resolution Policy which outlines the steps if a dispute arises over fees. An Appeals Process and Payment Plans of Financial Hardship. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any financial concerns.

Healthy Eating Policy to be reviewed during the summer term and shared with parents before updating here in July 2026
